Are kids allowed?
While we love your children, this invitation is extended to adults only. We politely request no children are present due to venue restrictions. Please take this as an opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears.
Can I bring a date/plus one?
Unfortunately no. Our wedding is strictly RSVP as space is limited. We can only accommodate those listed in your invitation.
Formal invitations will be sent in 2025.
Is there a dress code?
Please join us in your formal attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or barong, and women wear an evening gown, midi/knee-length cocktail dress, or a nice pantsuit.
Will the wedding be indoors?
The ceremony and reception will both be held inside the Wisteria Room at the venue. Cocktail hour will be outside on the rooftop. Please dress accordingly. Elevators are available for accessing both spaces.
This is tentative and may change due to the weather that day. In the event that it may rain, cocktail hour will be held in the Tiffany Room.
Is there valet parking?
We do not have valet parking, but there are parking spaces available in The GEM Museum Suites lot located directly across the street from the museum.
Street parking is also available, however, we recommend utilizing SpotHero to ensure your parking spot.
Will there be a time gap/cocktail hour between your wedding ceremony and reception?
There will be a 1.5 hour gap between the ceremony and the reception. Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served on the rooftop for cocktail hour.
Guests also have access to the museum exhibits during this time. Please note that drinks are strictly prohibited inside the exhibits.
Museum staff will be present for any assistance or direction.
Is the venue handicap accessible?
Yes! The venue is handicap accessible. Elevator access is available to all levels of the museum, an access ramp is located at the rear of the building, and accessible restroom facilities are located on the lower level.
What should I do if I can’t make it?
You will be missed! If you cannot attend the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no”, so we can plan accordingly.
What if I can attend the ceremony but not the reception?
Please let us know if you are unable to attend the reception so that we are able to adjust plans accordingly. We're sad you won't be able to continue partying with us, but we are so grateful for your presence and glad you are able to celebrate our ceremony!
Will food and drinks be served at the reception?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. The bar will be available during cocktail hour, closed during dinner (wine service will be available during dinner), and will re-open after dinner is served.
Will there be any gluten free/special diet options?
Please let us know if special dietary restrictions will need to be considered for your meals. Currently the only diet we cannot accommodate is the jain diet. Information can be sent to our wedding email: andforevermoore@gmail.com
Do you have a wedding hashtag?
Yes! Please use the hashtag #ForeverMoore when posting on social media so that we may share the smiles and laughter.
Are we able to check out the museum?
Absolutely! Guests have museum access after the ceremony (during cocktail hour) and after dinner has been served.
Please note that drinks are strictly prohibited inside the exhibits.
Museum staff will be present for any assistance or direction. The rooftop will also re-open after dinner.
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Absolutely! We encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels with one request: please tag each photo with our wedding hashtag, #ForeverMoore, so that we can keep track of all of your pictures!
We will have dedicated time during the ceremony for guests to take as many photos as they would like, however we ask that guests turn off or silence their phones for the rest of the ceremony time so that our photographer can work and we can dedicate this time to the couple.
If you are taking photos in the museum exhibits, cell photography is encouraged, but please turn off the flash per request of Halim Time and Glass Museum.
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation will be up to the individual guests.
Do you have a registry?
Your presence at our wedding is the best present of all! If you do feel inclined to bless us with a gift, we would appreciate contributions towards our future home or honeymoon, where we can create our most memorable memories. We will also have a card box at the reception. We are excited to celebrate with you all in October and for the rest of our lives!
